About Us

Nasyana Livestock and Agriculture Farm is created to make a positive and economic impact on the agricultural sector in Rasuwa and beyond inside Nepal. Our motivation and dedication to uplifting disadvantaged farmers and promoting sustainable farming practices is endless. In the rural Himalayan communities of Nepal, farmers face immense challenges such as climate change, declining of natural resources, and economic marginalization has eaten their livelihoods. Yet, these farmers hold the key to preserving biodiversity, traditional knowledge, and sustainable food systems. Nasyana exists to support them, ensuring they can thrive while protecting nature, feeding the nation, and setting an example for the world.

Climate change isn’t a distant threat; it is happening now. The past years were hotter than any other time in recorded history. Nasyana Livestock and Agriculture Farm is committed to disseminating this information as well as to prepare the local farmers to create resilience on climate change. Climate change has affected multiple sectors of agriculture and livestock farming from erratic rainfall to new diseases, and from harmful pesticides to the aggressive promotion of hybrid seeds, which often fail to adapt to local conditions. In contrast, native seeds are much more resilient to climate change. Here in the rural Himalayan community of Nepal, we must tackle these challenges through nature-based solutions: sustainable farming, clean energy, conservation of natural resources, and rejecting invasive species, chemical pesticides, and unsustainable hybrid farming.

Nasyana aims to work with elderly farmers, listening to their stories of hope and legacy as they protect native seeds and traditional farming wisdom. We strive to instill a sense of responsibility in the younger generation to preserve this lifestyle, this productivity, and this soil health for future generations. By safeguarding lush mountain forests and integrating appropriate technology, we can ensure rural farmers are properly survived with dignity with financial freedom and continue to feed urban populations, especially as two-thirds of the world’s people will live in cities by 2050.

One of the key areas of focus for Nasyana Livestock and Agriculture Farm is supporting poor and marginalized farmers. In Nepal, where agriculture sustains millions, many small-scale farmers lack access to resources, training, and fair markets. Nasyana empowers them through education, organic farming techniques, and direct market linkages, helping them break the cycle of poverty. By prioritizing organic agriculture, we reduce reliance on harmful chemicals, protect soil fertility, and produce healthier food for consumers.

Our farm promotes and collaborates with more than 500 farmers to produce high-value crops like coffee, medicinal plants, spices and organic vegetable products that offer farmers better income while aligning with ecological balance. Coffee and other spices (cash crops) farming, for instance, can transform local economies, while medicinal plants preserve Nepal’s rich herbal heritage. Commercial organic vegetables meet growing global demand for clean, nutritious food. Through these initiatives, Nasyana ensures farmers not only survive but prosper.

We believe in a future where rural farmers are celebrated as guardians of nature and food security. By supporting them, we nurture the land, strengthen communities, and inspire the world. Nasyana’s mission is more than agriculture; it’s a movement for resilience, sustainability, and hope. Together, we can build a legacy where farmers, nature, and future generations flourish.
